Half-Cast and Player-Cast Incentive Programs

Player Cast Incentive Program

Realms of Adventure is currently offering an Incentive Program. What this program entails is the following: If you can guarantee that you will attend Realms of Adventure as a cast member

  • 6 consecutive events, you will receive a base of 16 points per event attended as a cast member.
  • 3 Consecutive Events, you shall receive a base of 12 points per event attended as a cast member.

We recognize that progression is important to players as well. If you are a casting class, you have the option of learning the next spell in progression (in the school of your choice that you have) for every event you attend as cast.

In place of a spell, you may choose one non self taught skill (that you have the prerequisites for, and is available to your class) to learn.

Attending events as a part of this program shall be at no cost. (And include a free saturday dinner meal.). You would still have to bring your own food (we provide snacks), bedding, supplies, etc. )

If you Player Incentive Cast, you will still receive your FULL gathering skill amounts for the event. (You must still fill out a commodity report.)

Updating would function as normal, and you may still participate in buying points (up to the usual two). You may still convert service points into character points as per normal. Slots for this program shall be limited, and will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis, at our discretion.

Half-Cast Program

This option for players allows them to cast for 1/2 of a weekend event. At a reduced attendance cost of $50.

The Half-Caster receives THREE additional earned points for the event, and can purchase 2 buy-in points for that event at a 50% discount ($5 per buy in point as opposed to $10 per buy in point).

We recognize that progression is important to players as well. If you are a casting class, you have the option of learning the next spell in progression (in the school of your choice that you have) for every event you attend as half cast.

In place of a spell, you may choose one non self taught skill (that you have the prerequisites for, and is available to your class) to learn.

The Half-Caster will receive Saturday night’s dinner at no cost to them.

The player must choose when to Half-Cast:

First, choose one shift on Saturday Then, choose one additional shift
Saturday: Game on until dinner Friday: Game on to game off
Saturday: Dinner until game off
Saturday: Dinner until game off Saturday: Game on until dinner
Sunday: Game on to game off

If you Half-Cast, you will still receive your FULL gathering skill amounts for the sessions during which you half cast. (You must still fill out a commodity report.)

The deadline for registration of a Half-Caster would be at the same time that pre-reg is due.  Registration would simply be informing Dave R directly and will likely have it’s own place on the registration page in the future.  Payment for this program may only be paid at the door.

Players should expect that they will typically find themselves in roles as mod support and general monster shifts.  Anyone participating in this program will also be allowed to submit smaller one-shot plots for direct approval by Ryan.  The due date on these plot submissions would also be due at the same time as pre-reg.
